Crew using forklifts to install upright frames for a pallet rack system in a new warehouse

CHC Total installs, removes, and relocates pallet rack and material-handling systems for warehouses in Michigan and nationwide. Every install is overseen by a project manager, performed by trained, licensed, and bonded installers with certified forklift operators, and backed by our own fabrication shop for unforeseen field problems.

What we install

Roll-formed racks

Teardrop-style selective racking for general warehousing and distribution.

Structural racks

Heavy-duty structural steel for high loads, forklift abuse, and drive-in / drive-through applications.

High-density storage

Systems that increase pallet positions per square foot when space is the constraint.

100% selective storage

Every pallet accessible, every time — the most common layout for mixed SKUs.

Custom racks & containers

Custom storage for carpet, coils, long goods, and other non-standard loads.

Space utilization & durability

Layouts and components chosen to use your cube and stand up to daily operations.

Warehouse Rack Installation FAQs

What types of racking do you install?

Roll-formed and structural pallet racks, high-density storage, 100% selective storage, and custom racks and containers — plus other material-handling systems.

Do you use temporary labor?

No. Unlike some material-handling distributors, we don’t use temp labor. Our installers are pallet rack installation professionals who are trained, licensed, and bonded.

Can you tear down our existing racks?

Yes. We dismantle existing rack systems and know how to properly package pallet racking for transport, whether it’s moving to a new building or leaving for resale.

Can you install on difficult floors?

Yes. Our crews have handled special flooring requirements such as in-floor heat and un-level slabs, extreme heights, and varying temperatures, while installing in conformance with building codes.

Do you install outside Michigan?

Yes. We take on installs nationwide and, where it lowers cost, partner with proven local crews under our project management.
